For seven years, Sō Percussion has been running a loft series from their studio in Brooklyn’s Navy Yard neighborhood. In this special marathon evening, percussionists from different parts of Brooklyn.

ONEPPO CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES – This group of YSM alums “has helped to ignite an explosive new enthusiasm for percussion music old and new” (The New York Times).
The TU Department of Music guest artist residency with the world-renowned Sō Percussion ensemble concludes “Amid the Noise” performed by members of Sō Percussion and the TU Percussion Ensemble
Jason Treuting’s “Amid the Noise” at the Big Ears Festival with some of our friends! Sō will be joined by Kronos Quartet, Shodekeh Talifero, Beth Meyers, as well as students from UT Knoxville!
We are playing the big stage at big ears for an evening of our album with Caroline Shaw, “Let the Soil Play its Simple Part” !
Our third concert at Big Ears Festival will feature works by Angelica Negron, Nathalie Joachim, Julia Wolfe! We will be joined by our friends from the Kronos Quartet!
